Speakeasy Salsa · Fall 2026 · Six nights in the lofts on West 23rd Street
MAMBROSO produces salsa and mambo nights in New York: a numbered season of nights in two lofts on one block of West 23rd Street. Every night has a lesson and the signature open bar. Five of the six are floor nights — the lesson, partners changing every song, then the floor until close. The sixth is a lounge night, where the room is built for listening and talking instead. Members first; everyone else when the doors open.

The season
Speakeasy Salsa runs as a numbered season — six nights from October to December, no two the same idea. Every night: doors at ten, the signature open bar, twenty-one and over. Tickets and membership are on Luma.
A Filin night · a DJ set, the floor open
The club opens on the feeling songs, carried by the DJ: the floor open, the lights low, a first night for dancing close.
The host's birthday — come dressed
Tiles on the tables, a floor laid for the night, and a set built for talking over until it isn't. Play, talk, switch.
Lights low, one bachata lesson, then the room gets close.
Two years of MAMBROSO
Two years from the first night, on the records the brand started with, and a singer for two live sets.
The feeling songs · live vocals, low light
Havana borrowed the English word feeling and made a music out of it — jazz harmony under a voice, sung close. One singer, two sets, the lights down.
The year's last night · a special surprise guest
Dressed up, the biggest floor, the DJ's longest set, a toast at midnight.
Come dressed. Members walk in on their name; everyone else has applied and been answered.
Every night. A beginner lesson, partners changing every song. Never danced? This is where you start.
Floor nights: two DJ sets, never a set list, the floor open until one, capped so it stays danceable. The lounge night: the room stays at talking level and the night is what is happening at the tables.
Open bar with the doors; last pour at half past twelve, thirty minutes before close.
Nos. 01 and 05 are Filin nights — the Havana music that took its name from the English word feeling. No. 01 opens the season with it on the floor, carried by the DJ. No. 05 is the lounge night, where the room itself is the evening: live vocals, the lights down, the music kept low enough to hear each other. No. 02 puts tiles on the tables beside the floor. No. 04 adds a singer, two live sets between the records. Same door, same bar, same ticket.

The rooms
Every night this season is in a Flatiron Loft Collection room — three lofts on one block, run by one house, where our host is a managing partner. Not a rental; the address. Each night names its room, and the suite and the door come with your ticket.
20 W 23rd St · Suite 4
The room the club opens in. Brick and neon, an eighteen-foot bar lit from behind, a pool table, a system built for a DJ, and light that changes colour as the night goes. A dance floor is laid for the night, and the tables are kept for the ones who came to talk.
This season Nos. 01 and 02 — both floor nights. The season opens here on the feeling songs, and the tiles come to the tables later in the month.
20 W 23rd St · Suite 5
The floor. Two and a half thousand square feet of it, dressed: a gold thread of chandeliers running the length of the room, a bar built into the wall, a disco ball turning over an open floor, and three lounge rooms off it — one curtained, one in red velvet — for the conversations that leave the floor. A private roof upstairs with two fire pits and the skyline.
This season Nos. 03, 04, 05 and 06 live here — the lesson and the DJ on the main floor, the bar open with the doors, the roof open, weather permitting, with the pours indoors.
14 W 23rd St · Penthouse
Three doors east and up: the whole top floor. Rooms that read like a very good apartment — art on the walls, a record player, a bar — skylights above, windows down one side, and a private terrace at the end of them over West 23rd. The most intimate of the three: sixty people, and everyone can hear each other.
This season Held on the house’s book for the members’ formats — the nights that want the whole floor to themselves, and the ones that should end on a terrace.
The rooms, on the nights

From the first night
How one night in a penthouse became the nights above. Every frame here is from one of our own nights.
November 2024
A penthouse with the city in its windows, a DJ, a show — and a room that came dressed for it.
December 2024 – February 2025
The first night became a volume a month in the penthouse: a tree in the windows in December, a show in the middle of the floor, red for Valentine's.
March – May 2025
Two of the volumes moved to a speakeasy: low light, a voice on the mic, a solo under the spotlight.
July – November 2025
After the last volume, the night went visiting: a summer night at a cocktail bar in Queens, an intimate evening in the West Village, and a season of Sundays in Brooklyn, with a band.
2026
Speakeasy Salsa opened at the Loft in Flatiron in January. Live-music nights followed in February, the 14 West Loft in March, the Loft on Fifth in April. This fall: six nights, members first.

Membership
Every night opens to members first, then to everyone else by application — answered within a day. Two nights a season are for members and their guests only: this fall, the night MAMBROSO turns two and the Holiday Descarga.
A membership is monthly, walks you in on your name, and — with the guest tier — brings one person with you every night. A season pass covers the six nights without the membership. Every membership and the season pass include the signature open bar.
The founding cohort: twenty-five memberships at the founding rate, open until our second night or until they are taken. The founding rate is held for as long as the membership runs unbroken.
Rates are on the membership page itself — nowhere else.
Private events
Birthdays, anniversaries and big parties; company nights, client evenings and holiday parties; weddings and the nights either side of them; and the entertainment inside somebody else’s event — a lesson, a DJ, a singer, percussion, dancers. Photography and video, and food and drink, can come with any of it.
In house or in yours. All three lofts on this page are ours to book, which is the simplest version: one conversation for the room and the night together. But the night travels — we produce in whatever space you already have, or in one you are choosing.
Tell us when, how many, and roughly what the evening is. You get a written proposal back, not a call you have to take.
